Posted on August 25, 2024

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Police and Crime Stoppers of El Paso are asking for your help in finding a woman who was recorded using a stolen credit card at stores in East El Paso last month.

This is this week’s featured “Crime of the Week” as publicized by Crime Stoppers.

A little after 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, a woman used a stolen credit card at Dick’s Sporting Goods at 8889 Gateway West Blvd.  The card had been stolen earlier that day from a vehicle along the 11100 block of Leo Collins, Crime Stoppers said.

The woman also tried to use the card at the Best Buy Store next to Dick’s Sporting Goods and a DK Store at 2955 George Dieter.

The woman is described as having a light complexion and has a large build, according to Crime Stoppers. The suspect drove a white, four-door car, Crime Stoppers said.

Anyone with any information on the identity of this woman should call Crime Stoppers of El Paso immediately at (915) 566-8477 (TIPS) or visit online at www.cselpaso.org. You will remain anonymous, and if your tip leads to an arrest, you may qualify for a cash reward.
