EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Camino Real Regional Utility Authority (CRRUA) received two customer calls regarding discolored water for the month of October, according to a press release from the utility.
The CRRUA says operators tested the water at the point of entry at both residences and the water was clear.
The utility also provided a list of data regarding the number of calls they received on discolored water. That list is the following:

“Discolored water calls include brown or yellow water. Causes include water line breaks, water wells returning to service, hydrant flushes that disturb naturally occurring sediments that accumulate in the distribution system over time, and issues within the dwelling associated with water heaters, water softeners and water filtration systems,” the utility said.
