EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Camino Real Regional Utility Authority is working on fixing a construction-related water main break in Sunland Park.
The break is impacting service around Derby Lane, Victory Lane and the Appaloosa area, CRRUA said.
Neighboring areas may also experience water service disruption.
There is no estimated completion time for the repair.
Once water service is restored, customers may notice discoloration due to naturally occurring minerals in the distribution system, the utility said.
CRRUA recommends waiting for the water to become clear before washing laundry. The discoloration should disappear within 24 hours. If it does not, customers should run cold water for several minutes.
