EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office (DASO) will conduct sobriety checkpoints and saturation patrols through the end of June.
The campaign is in an effort to reduce the number of crashes, injuries and deaths related to Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), according to a news release senet out by Doña Ana County.
Checkpoints will be in undisclosed locations and areas, within Doña Ana County, between the hours of 12 p.m. and 2 a.m., the news release said.
Deputies will look for all types of violations, with an emphasis on intoxicated drivers.
