EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting sobriety checkpoints and saturation patrols throughout the month of September.
The checkpoints will be at undisclosed areas within Doña Ana County from 12 p.m. to 2 a.m., according to the County in a news release.
The efforts are to help decrease the number of crashes, injuries and deaths related to drunk driving, according to Doña Ana County.
The Sheriff’s Office is encouraging the public to drive sober to keep the roads safe for everyone.
