EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Chihuahuas and Locomotive FC are gearing up for their 2025 seasons, and what better way to start than with new delicious options to choose from while watching the games?
A media tasting night was held on Tuesday evening, Feb. 25, and was a night full of delicious surprises and great company.
KTSM got a sneak peek of the menu items the community can expect to see at Southwest University Park this spring.
Here’s the rundown of some of the food items:

- Turkey burger
- Franklin Mountain burger
- Jalapeño popper burger
- All in one burger
- Birria burger
- Juarez dogs
- Chili cheese dog
- Memphis dog
- Carne asada dog
- Philly cheesesteak dog
- Flaming hot footlong hot dog
- Birria fries
- Buffalo fries
- Chili cheese fries
- Pulled pork nachos
- Shredded brisket nachos
“This year, what we did new is, one, we have put some footlong hot dogs. Our Juarez dogs are now footlong hot dogs instead of little and six-inch, which is good for sharing. You can share with your whole family, “the executive chef at Southwest University, Maria Barragan-Hurtado, said.
