EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The water issue at Gadsden High School is “now clear” and the issue has been resolved, according to Gadsden ISD.
Water on campus was cleared as of 12:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, the district said.
“We appreciate the swift response of the Anthony Water & Sanitation District in addressing and resolving this matter,” the district said in a statement.
As a precautionary measure, GISD has decided to keep water dispensers on campus into next week.
“This additional measure is in place to guarantee that all students have easy access to clean drinking water,” the district said.
“The safety and health of our students remain our top priority, and we will continue to work closely with the Anthony Water & Sanitation District to monitor and maintain the water quality on the campus,” the district added in its statement.
