EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A local softball coach was arrested and charged with indecency with child sexual contact after allegedly inappropriately touching a 13-year-old girl last year, according to court documents.
As we previously reported, Jorge Anaya, 29, was arrested for indecency with a child/sexual contact and was booked to the El Paso County Detention Facility with a $20,000 bond, Horizon Police said.
According to court documents, the victim’s mother met with Horizon Police to report that Anaya had touched her 13-year-old daughter in September 2024.
The first incident happened at a football game where Anaya kept on touching the victim by placing his hand on the left side area of her hip and then “he would go down.” The victim also said Anaya was grabbing her belt loop and then trying to “put his hand in her pants,” but she was not letting him, according to court documents.
The victim said that in the second incident, Anaya got behind her and started hugging her. She said she could feel his “private part poking her,” and it bothered her, according to court documents.
According to court documents, the victim said that the last incident happened when Anaya was sitting, and he made her sit on top of him. She said she got up really quickly and got away from him, according to court documents.
The victim said she had told a friend about what Anaya had done to her, and the friend said, “Yeah, he used to do the same thing with me,” according to court documents.
According to court documents, the victim said she also told Anaya’s partner about the incident, to which she replied, “That’s how he plays around.”
