EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Doña Ana County said its “services remain available to everyone” regardless of immigration status.

Doña Ana County issued a statement on several of its social media platforms in the wake of President Donald Trump’s inauguration and flurry of executive orders, many dealing with immigration.

Here is Doña Ana County’s official statement regarding immigration enforcement:

“We understand that recent changes in immigration enforcement may cause concern for some members of our community. We want to assure you that Doña Ana County is committed to supporting all residents, regardless of immigration status.

“Our services remain available to everyone, and we are here to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of our entire community. We will continue to monitor this situation closely to address concerns as they arise.

“Please know that we value every individual who calls Doña Ana County home. Together, we will continue working toward a welcoming and supportive environment for all.”
