EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The annual El Paso Comic Con is set to return to the El Paso Convention Center in Downtown next month.
The event will be April 11-13, Destination El Paso said in a news release.
Tickets are on sale now by clicking here. VIP passes ($150), weekend passes ($80) and single-day passes — Friday ($25), Saturday ($35) and Sunday ($30) are available.
“This year’s event brings an exciting lineup of guest stars, activities and immersive experiences for fans. Attendees can look forward to Q&A panels with featured guests and autograph signings, trivia contests, a video game truck, the El Paso Lego Users Group and free board games to enjoy throughout the weekend,” Destination El Paso said.
The event will also feature a Lucha League wrestling event.
A special entrance giveaway includes free capes and masks for the first 300 kids each day, Destination El Paso said.
There will be an escape room and an adult costume contest for those into cosplay.
On Saturday, a string orchestra will perform pop culture music during the first two hours.
To ensure an inclusive environment for all guests, El Paso Comic Con will introduce a Low Sensory Impact Opening on Sunday – “an exclusive early entry hour designed for attendees who prefer a relaxed convention experience,” Destination El Paso said.
This special hour is sponsored by Mike Dee’s Big Adventure.
Event Hours are: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, April 11; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 12; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 13. Low Sensory Impact Open is at 9 a.m. Sunday for those approved by Mike Dee’s Big Adventure.
