The County Attorney’s Office will also speak on its wage theft prosecution program at the open house, which aims to “ensure that workers in this growing area have the resources to protect their rights.”
“Wage theft is a serious issue that robs hardworking individuals of their rightful earnings.
My office is committed to holding employers accountable who engage in these illegal practices.
We encourage anyone who believes they may be a victim of wage theft to come to the open house and learn about their rights,” County Attorney Christina Sanchez said.
