EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso County officially launched a network of advanced AI-powered self-service kiosks at multiple access points across the County, according to a news release announcing the launch.

The kiosks are available at Fort Bliss, the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo, and the County annex locations, according to the news release.

“This initiative, in partnership with Advanced Robot Solutions (ARS), reflects the County’s commitment to delivering responsive, inclusive, and accessible services to all residents no matter where they live or work,” read the news release.

The County said these kiosks were developed to help bridge long-standing service gaps for residents in rural areas, Spanish-speaking communities, and active-duty military families.

Thanks to this launch, the County is using smart technology to bring the government closer to the people.

“We’re taking bold steps to make government more accessible,” El Paso County Judge Ricardo Samaniego said. “This kiosk network represents the County’s dedication to removing barriers and ensuring our services reach every corner of our diverse community.”

The County said the kiosks provide residents with a quick, secure, and user-friendly way to handle a variety of court and County functions, including the following:

  • Hearing lookup – Residents can instantly find out if they have a court hearing
scheduled and where it is located.
  • Secure payment options – Accepts payments for Juvenile Probation, the County Tax
    Office, and Child Support obligations.
  • Frequently asked questions – Access to a knowledge base of answers about County
    services.
  • Printable forms – Download court and County forms on the spot.
  • Live telepresence support – Connects users to County staff via real-time video for
    personal assistance.
  • Smart AI integration – The kiosks continuously learn from user interactions to
improve answers and anticipate resident needs over time.

“Since the initial launch, kiosks have already served hundreds of residents, with particularly high adoption seen at Ysleta del Sur Pueblo, the Fort Bliss Welcoming Center, and locations where
residents often face challenges accessing in-person services,” read the news release.

The County added that over 20 percent of interactions to date have been conducted in Spanish, demonstrating their effectiveness in supporting bilingual populations.

“El Paso County is trailblazing a new path for government innovation,” Paul McManus, CEO
of Advanced Robot Solutions, said. “By prioritizing community needs and selecting ARS as their
technology partner, they’re not only meeting the needs of today’s residents, but they are also
setting a national example for equitable, A.I.-powered public service delivery. We look forward to
seeing the positive impact this will have across the County.”
