EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso County Criminal Justice Coordination Department will host a “transformative” Women’s Resource Fair this weekend.
The Women’s Resource Fair will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, at Ascarate Park, 6900 Delta Dr.
According to a news release from El Paso County, the event is designed to support “justice-involved individuals and their families, with a special emphasis on women.”
The event brings various community partners who will help in creating a place of hope, healing and opportunity, El Paso County said.
Additionally, employers, mental-health providers, emergency shelters and social-service organizations will be on-site to provide resources and connections at the fair, the news release read.
The County said the event is free and will include family-friendly activities, assistance to enroll to get an enhanced library card, free giveaways and more.
