EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A two-year-old poodle mix needs the El Paso community’s help to reach his new home in Washington.
Mario Kart, who was rescued by Law N Paws, a local nonprofit organization that works with animal cruelty cases, is currently living in El Paso and has found his forever home in Spokane, Washington. He requires special care as he is currently living with partial paralysis.

Mario Kart’s vet tech from East El Paso Animal Hospital has volunteered to accompany him to Washington as he requires special care. However, to make the journey possible, Law N Paws is raising funds to cover the essential costs of transportation and is also asking for donations to help cover the cost of a rental car, gas, hotel stays, and food during the trip.
After being struck by a car and left untreated, Mario Kart was rescued by Law N Paws where his road to recovery began, according to the nonprofit.
Mario Kart has had surgery, extensive medical care, and a custom wheelchair to help get him around.
“Mario Kart’s new life is within reach, and you can help him roll into his new future with hope and joy. Every donation, no matter the size, brings him closer to a home where he can continue to thrive and live a happy, fulfilling life,” Law N Paws said.
