The utility says the snowstorm impacted more than 50,000 customers and more than 100 crew members with PNM worked to restore service to those affected.

As of Thursday afternoon, 41,000 customers are still being affected and power has been restored to 9,000 customers in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe area, according to PNM.

PNM says customers should be on the alert for crews working near roadways and help keep them safe by driving slowly and keeping a safe distance.
