EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – El Paso Electric (EPE) will perform transmission work in the Mission Valley which will require overnight closures of Socorro Rd. between Passmore Rd. to Thompson Rd. the week of Sunday, April 7, according to the utility.
The overnight closures will be from Sunday, April 7 through Wednesday, April 10 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Nightly)
The utility is asking commuters to follow detour signage and respect construction barricades. Closure and traffic detours will be assisted by local law enforcement and Apache Barricade & Sign.
Additionally, semi-trucks eastbound at Loop 375/Socorro Rd. and westbound at Chicken Ranch Rd./Socorro Rd. will be routed to Alameda Ave.
