EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Electric will be performing transmission work in the Mission Valley Area, leading to two separate overnight road closures, according to the utility.
The utility says the two road closures will take place on Socorro Road as part of its improvement project to “support customer growth in the Mission Valley area.”
The first overnight road closure will be from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Thursday, March 21. Socorro Road will be closed between Borrego Road and Thompson Road.
The second overnight road closure will be from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Sunday, March 24 through Friday, March 29. Socorro Road will be closed between San Antonio Street to Thompson Road.
“To safely work on this project, commuters are asked to follow detour signage and respect construction barricades. Closure and traffic detours will be assisted by local law enforcement and Apache Barricade & Sign,” the utility said.
