EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — After roughly an hour, over 2,000 residents in West El Paso after an outage caused by wildlife, according to a spokesperson with El Paso Electric on Sunday, Oct. 26.
The call of the outage came in shortly after 10 a.m. on Sunday and roughly 2,700 customers were affected.

According to the spokesperson, the outage was caused by a squirrel getting into a substation.
