EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Fire recovered a body from a canal along Southside Road in the Lower Valley late Friday night, March 5, according to the department’s X account.
Fire crews responded to the 10000 block of Southside Road. That’s near the Jonathan W. Rogers Water Treatment Plant.
It was the second body that the El Paso Fire Department was involved with recovering on Friday. Earlier, El Paso fire crews helped the Socorro Fire Department recover a body from a canal near Socorro Road.
Both scenes were turned over to law enforcement for further investigation.
