EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Independent School District has named a new principal at Zach White Elementary School.
Sophia Fierro, who most recently served as a principal in Ysleta ISD, was named the new principal at Zach White, EPISD said.
“Mrs. Fierro is a seasoned educator with over 20 years of experience. During her tenure, she has served as a bilingual teacher, instructional specialist, coordinator, and assistant principal. Most recently, she served as a principal in the Ysleta Independent School District,” according to a news release sent out by El Paso ISD.
Fierro received a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Texas at El Paso and a master’s degree in educational administration from Lamar University.
