EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Independent School District (EPISD) will host its third annual Back to School Fiesta to start the new academic year in a positive light.

According to the news release by EPISD, the three-day celebration will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. from July 29-31 at the district’s 10 high schools.

EPISD provided the following schedule for the fiestas happening at their high-school campuses:

“We’re proud to continue this one-of-a-kind tradition that brings joy to our families while staying true to our mission of partnering with our community,” Martha Aguirre, interim superintendent of El Paso ISD, said. “The Back to School Fiesta is more than just a celebration; it’s our way of building strong relationships from day one and ensuring every student feels supported, welcomed, and ready to succeed.”

At each fiesta, there will be games, jumping balloons, music, food and more, EPISD said.

Additionally, each event will also include informational booths for families to connect with campus staff and receive essential information before the school year, EPISD said.

The school district said it will also be providing free school supplies for all students. Elementary students will receive individual supply kits, and secondary students will be provided with classroom sets during the first week of school.

The Back-to-School Fiesta events are to “strengthen the connection between campuses and the communities they serve, while giving families the tools and information they need for a successful school year,” read the news release.
