EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — An El Paso man is facing a charge of murder after he allegedly ran over another man after an altercation this past Sunday, March 2, in Central El Paso, according to El Paso Police.
Antonio Rodriguez, 47, is facing the charge after police say he intentionally ran over a man in his early 20s who ended up dying shortly after at a local hospital.

Police say they responded at around 9 p.m. that Sunday, to the 700 block of North Piedras in reference to a pedestrian collision.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was inside Rodriguez’s vehicle when an altercation happened.
After the altercation, the victim exited Rodriguez’s vehicle, which is when Rodriguez intentionally ran over the victim, police said.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and ended up dying as a result of his injuries.
The man has not been identified as police are waiting on the next of kin.
Rodriguez was arrested for murder and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility under a $500,000 bond.
