EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — To wrap up the end of Women’s History Month, the local pop-up market “Mija, Yes You Can” is inviting El Pasoans to celebrate 4 years starting from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 24 at Chuco Relic located on 3750 Gateway East.
The “Mija, Yes You Can” market will offer a range of vendors, all local and women owned.
“What’s special about this market is that it is one of the city’s largest markets showcasing women-owned businesses,” Founder and Executive Director Isis Lopez said.
This year, the market will also have a fundraiser for the “Mija, Yes You Can!” scholarship. Women in the area can use the scholarship for their academic careers.
“Education is one of our organization’s main pillars. By empowering women through education, we aim to foster lasting change within our community,” Lopez said.
The market will also support the local non-profit organization, “A Home To Bark and Purr”.
Guests are encouraged to donate pet supplies. In return, they can receive a free slice of birthday cake and a cookie while supplies last.
