EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — An El Paso couple were arrested on Thursday, March 7 for seriously injuring their six-month-old child, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office says on Tuesday, Feb. 20, detectives assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division, Special Victim’s Unit (SVU) received information of an injury to a six-month-old child at the 13000 block of Guerrero Dr., in far East El Paso.
Detectives then obtained arrest warrants for the child’s father, Jesse Hernandez, 34, and the child’s mother, Jennifer Hernandez, 29.

Jesse and Jennifer Hernadez were arrested on Wednesday, March 7 at the same address by the SVU, along with the assistance of the Fugitive Apprehension Unit (FAU).
Jesse and Jennifer Hernandez were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for injury to a child with intent serious bodily injury with a total bond of $200,000 each.
