KTSM News – El Paso Police: 1 shot, injured in East El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – One person was shot and taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries Saturday afternoon, July 27 in East El Paso, according to the El Paso Police Department (EPPD).

Officers were called at 1:23 p.m. Saturday to the 11500 block of Tony Tejeda Drive regarding a shooting, according to EPPD. The shooting happened near the intersection of Tony Tejeda and George Dieter.

EPPD said a person, no gender or age given, was shot and taken to a local hospital. Police did not specify the severity of the person’s injuries.

No arrests have been made at this time.

KTSM is working to gather more information and update this developing story.
