KTSM News – El Paso Police seek help in locating vehicle involved in deadly Northeast crash

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Police Department is asking for your help in identifying a pickup truck believed to be involved in a deadly crash on Monday morning, Aug. 18, in Northeast El Paso.

As KTSM previously reported, a Ford F-150 truck was traveling south on Martin Luther King Boulevard, where the driver swerved to avoid a crash and then lost control of the vehicle.

The truck went into oncoming traffic and struck two vehicles.

The driver of one of the vehicles, 52-year-old Oscar Lopez, was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The El Paso Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a dark-colored pickup truck with damage to the right-hand side.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the El Paso Police non-emergency line at (915) 832-4400 or Crime Stoppers of El Paso at (915) 566-8477.
