KTSM News – El Paso, Sunland Park Fire respond to reports of ‘multiple people’ in water

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso and Sunland Park Fire departments have responded to reports of “multiple people in the water” near the Texas-New Mexico state line on Tuesday, July 9, both said.

El Paso Fire Water Rescue Team, alongside Sunland Park Fire, have responded to the 3500 block of Doniphan Drive. Border Patrol is also on the scene.

Sunland Park Fire reports a “very active” scene and that there are multiple people in the Rio Grande between Racetrack Drive and McNutt Road at Paisano.
