EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Water is planning a manhole replacement project along a busy roadway in El Paso’s Upper Valley, and residents can learn more about the project.
The project will be at Sunset Road and River Bend Drive, the water utility said.
A “come-and-go”-style open house meeting will be held on the project from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 21 at the Westside Regional Command Center, 4801 Osborne Dr.
“Replacement of the manhole and surrounding infrastructure will require a closure of this intersection for the duration of the project,” El Paso Water said.
The manhole replacement project is designed to improve wastewaster system performance and stability of the roadway, El Paso Water said.
Water utility staff will be on-hand to answer questions and provide information on what residents can expect during construction.
