EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Franklin and Scout, mountain lions at the El Paso Zoo and Botanical Gardens, will be making their Big Game predictions of the winner between the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the Philadelphia Eagles.
The prediction event will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, at the zoo located at 4001 E. Paisano Dr.

The event will feature the mountain lions choosing between two helmet-shaped piñatas representing the Chiefs and Eagles and will be filled with identical treats.
Franklin and Scout will attempt to correctly guess the winners of this Big Game, as last year, they correctly predicted the Kansas City Chiefs as champs, according to the news release by the City.
“This fun event not only highlights the excitement of the big game but also serves as valuable animal enrichment, providing mental and physical stimulation to the Zoo’s residents,” the City said.
Visitors are encouraged to wear their favorite NFL team jersey to cheer on the mountain lions during the event.
Visit the El Paso Zoo’s website for more information about the event and future events.
