EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Community members, donors and volunteers can learn more about what El Pasoans Fighting Hunger does.
The organization, which bills itself as the leading non-profit organization dedicated to combating hunger in the El Paso community, will host its annual Open House from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12 at its facility, 9541 Plaza Circle.
“This year’s event will highlight our commitment to the community under the guiding principles of our slogan: ‘Today. Tomorrow. Together.’ Join us as we showcase the impact we are making today, our plans for a brighter tomorrow, and how we can achieve lasting change together,” El Pasoans Fighting Hunger said in a news release.
There will be guided tours of the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger facility, opportunities to hear from people who have been helped, a chance to meet the team at the facility and you can hear about the organization’s future vision and initiatives.
“Our mission is built on the foundation of ‘Today. Tomorrow. Together,” said Susan Goodell, CEO of El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank. “Today, we provide essential resources to those in need. Tomorrow, we focus on building sustainable solutions. And together, we can create a hunger-free El Paso.”
