EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Interstate 10 East and westbound traffic between Redd Road and Artcraft Road will be closed for three nights this week as El Paso Electric will make improvements to its energy delivery system, the utility said.

The utility said the closure will be nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. starting on Tuesday, Feb. 4 through Friday, Feb. 7.
The closure will impact I-10 East and westbound traffic between Redd Road and Artcraft Road, the utility said.
Detour details:
- Westbound I-10 traffic: Exit Mesa/Thorn to Redd Rd. to Doniphan Dr. to Artcraft Rd. to I-10
- Eastbound I-10 traffic: Exit Artcraft Rd. to Doniphan Dr. to Redd Rd. to I-10
“To safely work on these upgrades, commuters are asked to follow detour signage and respect construction barricades,” read the news release sent by the utility. “Closure and traffic detours will be assisted by local law enforcement and Apache Barricade & Sign.”
