This Labor Day weekend, round up your crew and gear up for battle—it’s time for the American Eagle Paintball Party Headquarters showdown! Bring at least 10 friends (the more, the messier!) and get ready for some friendly paint-slinging competition. Trust me, this will be a game of nonstop action!

El Paso Water Parks
The El Paso Water Parks will be going out with a bang this Labor Day, as they end their services for the season. All water parks will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 1.

If you’re ready to laugh non-stop, head on over to the Comic Strip on 1201 Airway. This weekend, Mario “Superstar” Salazar will bring his edgy comic relief that’s about the everyday experience on the Texas/Mexican border. New comics are performing at the Comic Strip every weekend, so check out their web page!

Sombra Antigua Winery
If you don’t mind going for a ride out to Anthony, New Mexico, you’ll find Sombra Antigua Winery, which is a family-owned and operated vineyard. Guests are welcomed into a warm and inviting tasting room, where the atmosphere is as rich as the wines themselves. The vineyard grapes produce a wide variety of red and white wines that can be enjoyed in beautiful scenery. They are open Thursday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

El Paso Community College’s Teal Bash
EPCC is welcoming new students this fall semester with its Teal Bash, happening from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28, at the Americana Village at the Valle Verde Campus, located at 919 Hunter Dr.
Students can enjoy delicious food, exciting games, live entertainment and giveaways, all for free!
Musical performances by Acrolein, Worm Ceiling and Mia Antifa will rock your Thursday and take part in activities such as a mechanical bull, dunk tank and rock climbing.
EPCC President William Serrata is expected to address students at 5:45 p.m.
The Elmont Swim Club Labor Day Weekend Concerts
Close out the Summer season with a splash at the Elmont Swim Club with three days of back-to-back music entertainment this Labor Day weekend.
Here’s the lineup for this weekend’s Labor Day Weekend concerts:
- Friday, Aug.29: Canadian electronic duo Zed’s Dead launches the weekend with a high-energy set filled with bass-heavy anthems that have made them legends in the EDM world.
- Saturday, Aug. 30: Latin superstar De La Ghetto headlines The Elmont’s first-ever reggaeton concert, turning the Swim Club into a full-scale pool party. Known for hits like “Sensación del Bloque” and countless chart-topping collaborations, De La Ghetto brings his signature style to El Paso for one unforgettable night. Tables and cabanas are available for those looking to party in VIP fashion.
- Sunday, Aug. 31: Country hitmaker Niko Moon wraps up the holiday weekend with his signature blend of feel-good country and beach-inspired grooves. With multi-platinum anthems like “Good Time” and new tracks off American Palm, Moon will keep the holiday vibes going long after sunset.

Additionally, the Swim Club will be open on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
