EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Commuters will have to follow a detour signage in far East El Paso from Thursday, February 8, through Friday, this as El Paso Electric has announced a closure.
According to EPE, a portion of I-10 will be closed in far east El Paso from 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 8 through 6:00 a.m. on Friday, February 9, and will include eastbound and westbound lanes of I-10, as well as Gateway Boulevards East and West. This closure will allow EPE to extend distribution lines across I-10.
El Paso Police Department will assist with the closure and detours, as well as the Texas Department of Transportation and Apache Barricade.

I-10 eastbound & westbound lanes will be closed between Loop 375 and Horizon Blvd.
Gateway Blvd. West will be closed between Nonap Rd. and Eastlake Blvd.
Gateway Blvd. East will be closed between Nuevo Hueco Tanks and N. Moon Rd.
