EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 71-year-old man was arrested and is facing child pornography charges, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said.
Lonny Gene Huisenga, 71, was recently arrested and is facing charges of parole violation and possession of child pornography, the Sheriff’s Office said.
On March 10, deputies responded to a call at the El Paso Transitional Center, a community corrections center located at 1650 Horizon Blvd., regarding a resident in possession of explicit images.
Upon arrival, deputies met with the resident’s parole officer, who reported that during routine checks, the resident was found to be in possession of explicit images involving child pornography, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Huisenga was arrested and was first booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for allegedly violating his parole.
The Sheriff’s Office continued the investigation, and Huisenga was booked on additional charges of possession of child pornography.
His bond was set at $75,000, the Sheriff’s Office said.
