KTSM News – EPCSO: Truck hauling 4 vehicles struck by train in Fabens

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A truck hauling several vehicles was struck by a train Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 7 in Fabens, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPCSO)

Shortly before 4 p.m. Aug. 7, deputies were dispatched to 250 NE Grace Street in Fabens, Texas in reference to a trailer stuck on railroad tracks.

EPCSO said a truck with a “gooseneck trailer” attached hauling four vehicles was struck by a train.

The train came to a halt blocking adjacent streets to railroad crossing from NW 3rd St. to Grace St., according to EPCSO.

No injuries were reported, according to EPCSO.

Special Traffic Investigators (STI) were notified and took over the scene.
