EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – El Paso Fire Department’s (EPFD) Water Rescue team successfully rescued one person from the canal Wednesday evening, Sept. 18 in South-Central El Paso.
EPFD says they responded to reports of a person in the canal at the Cesar Chavez Border Highway and Fonseca Dr. just before 11 p.m.
No injuries were reported. The scene was turned over to law enforcement.
