According to police, just before 4 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1, D Aundre Kahlil Malik Laffoon, 27, was traveling on Loop 375 and Mile Marker 42 (Vista Del Sol) at “a high rate of speed.”

Laffoon’s vehicle struck the rear of another vehicle traveling on Loop 375 and lost control of his car, police said.

According to police, Laffoon veered off the roadway, rolled over and was ejected out of the vehicle.
