EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Fabens Middle School was safely evacuated Monday morning, Nov. 3, after a small fire in a heating unit, the Fabens Independent School District said.
The fire was quickly contained by the Fabens Fire Department, and no students or staff were in danger, the school district said.
As a precaution, students were held at the Wildcat Den while the Fire Department completed a safety inspection of the building, the school district said.
