EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Riverside High School students, faculty, and staff were evacuated on Friday, Aug. 16, after smoke was detected due to a failed HVAC motor, according to the Ysleta Independent School District.
The district says the incident happened just before 1 p.m. after smoke was detected in a hallway and the El Paso Fire Department along with YISD security was notified.
