KTSM News – FBI, Texas rangers investigating officer-involved shooting in far East El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Federal and state law enforcement are actively investigating what is being called a “federal agent-involved shooting” on Tuesday afternoon, July 8 in far East El Paso, a spokeswoman with the El Paso FBI said.

The incident happened along Tierra Sauz Drive in far East El Paso, the spokeswoman confirmed.

No federal agents were hurt in the incident, the spokeswoman said.

“Texas Rangers and the FBI El Paso personnel are actively investigating a federal agent-involved shooting. No further information can be given at this time as the scene is still active,” the spokeswoman said in a statement.
