EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Fire crews are being dispatched to a Condition 2 fire in a scrap metal yard Saturday afternoon, May 24, in Northeast El Paso.
According to the El Paso Fire Department, the call came in minutes after 3:30 p.m. along the 6400 block of Mohair Drive.


According to El Paso Fire, the structure is a scrap metal business that has a lot of “junk” cars.
El Paso Fire said the fire was upgraded to a Condition 2. You could see smoke for miles around El Paso.
There have been no reports of injuries at this time.
