EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A fire in the backyard of a Las Cruces home damaged a shed Monday evening, May 26, according to the Las Cruces Fire Department.

The Fire Department says just before 7 p.m. on Monday, firefighters were dispatched to the report of a fire in the backyard of a home on the 1800 block of Idaho Avenue.

Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke coming from a large shed in the backyard of a home, the Fire Department said.

The Fire Department says crews extinguished the fire within 10 minutes, and no injuries were reported.
