EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A fire in Canutillo has spread and burned several structures on Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 7.

The fire started in a mobile fire at La Union and 4th in Canutillo and spread to a nearby two-story apartment complex, said Bill Adler, fire chief with West Valley Fire.

The scene is still active, but Adler said the fire is being placed under control.

West Valley Fire was first on the scene but they are getting assistance for Dona Ana County Fire Rescue and Sunland Park Fire.
