EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The man who was previously arrested for recording other individuals without their consent at an El Paso gym for youth cheerleading organizations was recently arrested again for the same offense, according to El Paso County jail records.
Jail records state Christopher Sotelo was charged with five more counts of invasive recording on Wednesday, Oct. 1, and was booked into the El Paso County Jail on Thursday, Oct. 2, under a total cash or surety bond of $185,000.

As KTSM 9 News previously reported, Sotelo, a former cheerleader coach with the Texas Bandits All-Stars cheerleading organization, was arrested in August and charged with two counts of invasive visual recording.
The owners of the Texas Bandits All-Stars cheerleading organization confirmed Sotelo was once employed with them but was fired after the incident.
Court documents obtained by KTSM say that employees working at the gym for cheerleading organizations found two recording devices in the bathrooms.
One of the devices was similar to a smartphone, and the other device resembled a pen.
The owners of the gym took the items to the police and found two video recordings on the pen device.
The recordings showed both owners at different times, walking into the bathroom, using the toilet, and exiting the room, according to court documents.
Both of the owners told police that they were unaware of being recorded and were not aware of any recording devices inside the bathroom.
