EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Former Dallas Cowboys and Arizona State quarterback Danny White will be the guest speaker during the El Paso Salvation Army’s gala event next month.
The Love Beyond Gala will be at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 18 at Grace Gardens, 6701 Westside Dr.
It is the first gala-type event for the local Salvation Army since the pandemic.
White played for the Cowboys for 13 years and guided them to three straight NFC title game appearances from 1980 to 1982.
White’s No. 11 jersey is retired by Arizona State. He was a first-team All-America selection in 1973 and WAC Offensive Player of the Year that year for the Sun Devils.
