KTSM News – Fourth of July 9-hour forecast: Hot and muggy with mostly clear to partly cloudy skies

Posted on July 4, 2024

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Fourth of July! We’re forecasting mostly clear skies with triple digits by noon.

If you have plans with friends and family to enjoy the firework show tonight, we’re expected to see a 20 percent slight chance of showers and thunderstorms at around 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. in some parts of the Borderland.

Southwest winds will stay low at 5 mph and then southeast from 5 to 10 mph tonight. By noon, it will feel hot and muggy and partly cloudy skies are expected to overcast around 2 p.m.

While the morning will start off warm with clear skies, mostly cloudy skies could appear around 5 p.m. Make sure to plan ahead to avoid plans getting impacted due to the weather.

Overall enjoy the show and safe holiday travels.
