EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The City of Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Department will transition to fall operating hours beginning in September.
A free swim day will be available on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1 at the following locations:
- East Mesa Bataan Memorial Pool, 6141 Reynolds Dr.
- Laabs Pool, 750 W. Picacho Ave.
Hours for both locations will be noon to 3 p.m. and 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., free of charge.
The Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center, 1401 E. Hadley Ave., will begin its fall schedule on Sept. 7, with the following hours:
- 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
- 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays
- Closed Sundays
Outdoor pools close for the season on Sept. 2.
Splash pads will operate Friday and Saturday until the end of the season on Sept. 28 and reopen Memorial Day weekend in 2026.
