EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — It’s the day after the Fourth of July and we’re still forecasting triple digits with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Starting in the morning and going into the afternoon, we’re expecting mostly clear skies with winds from 5 to 10 mph east and pick up later in the evening at 10 to 15 mph. Expect a high of 100 degrees.
Potentially strong thunderstorms and showers will begin after 3 p.m. with a brief heavy rain system coming through towards the evening. Temperatures will slightly drop in the mid-90s with a chance of showers and thunderstorms at 40 percent.
