EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Due to very cold temperatures expected for Wednesday, Jan. 8, the Gadsden Independent School District will start classes with a two-hour delay.
“Wind chill temperatures are expected to feel like eight degrees, and this adjustment ensures the safety of our students waiting at bus stops during these conditions,” Gadsden ISD announced in a news release.
Gadsden ISD said staff members will report to work at their regularly scheduled time.
We will update this story as other school districts around the El Paso and Las Cruces region announce their plans.
