EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Licon Dairy in San Elizario is hosting a special Rise and Restore event that will combine goat yoga, wellness, fun and family, its organizers said.
The Rise and Restore event will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 8 at Licon Dairy, 11951 Glorietta Road in San Elizario.
Goat yoga will create a unique way to to move, stretch and connect all while surrounded by playful goats, organizers said.
“This event is more than just yoga — it’s a tribute to the iconic dairy, which has served as a free petting zoo and family destination for generations,” a news release said that announced the event.
Through its new partnership with Rise and Restore, Licon Dairy is embarking on a mission to offer “even more unique and engaging experiences to the community, blending tradition with wellness in fresh and meaningful ways,” the news release said.
Besides the goat yoga event, there will be a wellness market of El Paso shops and artisans, a special Mom Walk, food, including burgers and ice cream, the dairy’s petting zoo and its famous cheese, the azaderos.
